Privacy Notice

Issued in compliance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), its Regulations and the Privacy Notice Guidelines.

This Privacy Notice is issued in Spanish, which is its official version. The English and Japanese versions are reference translations.

Through the contact form on this site and subsequent commercial correspondence, we collect only professional identification and contact data.

• E-mail address and phone number
• The content of your enquiry

03. Sensitive data

We do not collect sensitive personal data (racial or ethnic origin, health, genetic information, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, political opinions or sexual preference) through this site.

04. Primary purposes

Your data is necessary for the following purposes, which give rise to and are required for our legal relationship with you.

• Handling and answering your technical or commercial enquiry
• Preparing quotations and proposals
• Managing the commercial relationship and your orders
• Complying with legal, tax and customs obligations

05. Secondary purposes

The following purposes are not necessary for our legal relationship. You may object to them at any time by writing to the privacy contact e-mail, without this affecting the handling of your enquiry.

• Sending information on products, trade fairs and group news
• Satisfaction surveys

06. Data transfers

Your data may be shared, without requiring your consent under article 37 of the LFPDPPP, in the following cases.

• CBC group companies (including CBC Co., Ltd., Japan) in order to handle and fulfil your request
• Manufacturers and suppliers, only where indispensable to quote or supply the requested product
• Competent authorities where there is a duly founded legal requirement
• Service providers acting on our behalf (processors), contractually bound to protect your data

07. ARCO rights

You have the right to know what personal data we hold, what we use it for and the conditions of use (Access); to request the correction of your information (Rectification); to ask us to remove it from our records where you consider it is not being used in accordance with the principles of the law (Cancellation); and to object to the use of your data for specific purposes (Objection). To exercise these rights, send your request to the privacy contact e-mail, stating your name, a clear description of the right you wish to exercise and documents evidencing your identity. We will respond within the periods set by the LFPDPPP.

08. Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw at any time the consent you have given us for the processing of your personal data, by sending a request to the privacy contact e-mail. In some cases withdrawal cannot take immediate effect due to legal obligations or the continuation of the commercial relationship.

09. Cookies and third-party services

This site does not use its own tracking cookies or analytics tools. It does, however, embed third-party services that may set cookies or record technical data (such as your IP address) under their own policies.

10. Retention and security

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described and the applicable legal obligations. We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorised use, access or processing.

12. Supervisory authority

If you believe your right to the protection of personal data has been infringed, you may file a claim with the competent personal data protection authority in Mexico.
